1. Agreement and operator
These Terms form an agreement between you and Sawadee Thai LLC regarding the app Letters to God: Prayers. The app is developed, powered, and operated by Sawadee Thai LLC. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be at least 13 and legally permitted to use the service where you live. A higher local minimum age or parental-consent requirement applies where required. The service is not directed to children. You are responsible for your Apple account, device security, activity through your account, and truthful information. Accounts may not be transferred, impersonated, or created to evade enforcement.
3. Purpose and user content
Letters to God is a respectful community for prayers, encouragement, blessings, and kind comments. You remain responsible for your submissions and confirm that you have the rights needed to share them. You grant Sawadee Thai LLC a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, display, moderate, technically reproduce, and delete content solely to operate, secure, and improve the service.
4. Zero-tolerance sexual safety rules
Sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexualization of minors, solicitation of sexual activity, non-consensual intimate content, trafficking, sextortion, pornography, explicit sexual content, and attempts to obtain or exchange sexual material are prohibited. Suspected child exploitation may be preserved and reported to appropriate authorities or legally designated organizations.
5. Other prohibited content and conduct
You may not post or facilitate harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, intimidation, hate or dehumanizing content, graphic violence, self-harm encouragement, abusive or obscene content, defamation, impersonation, fraud, scams, illegal activity, controlled-substance sales, weapons transactions, exploitation, doxxing, private information, copyright infringement, malware, automated abuse, spam, manipulation, or moderation evasion. Political campaigning, partisan persuasion, electioneering, candidate promotion or attack, propaganda, fundraising, and organized political advocacy are prohibited.
6. No links, advertising, or solicitation
Prayers and comments may not contain URLs, web addresses, invitations to external channels, solicitation phone numbers, email addresses, referral codes, payment handles, fundraising requests, commercial promotions, business or job solicitations, affiliate marketing, chain messages, or attempts to move users to another service. Attempts to disguise or split links also violate these Terms.
7. Safety and professional advice
The app is not an emergency service and does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safety, or professional religious advice. User content may be inaccurate or distressing. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional.
8. Expiration and availability
Normal prayer posts and associated comments remain active for approximately 24 hours. After expiry, they leave the active experience and are scheduled for permanent deletion with related comments and blessings within 72 additional hours. Content may disappear sooner due to deletion, moderation, technical conditions, or legal obligations. A protected snapshot of reported content may be retained separately for moderation, safety, disputes, and legal compliance.
9. Reports and moderation
Users may report prayers, comments, or profiles. Reported content may be blurred during review. A report is not a finding of wrongdoing. We may preserve evidence, remove content, restrict features, issue warnings or strikes, disable accounts, report conduct, or take no action based on context, severity, history, law, safety, and available evidence.
10. Strikes and false reports
A confirmed first violation may result in one strike and a warning. An eligible first strike is designed to reset 365 days after the violation. A second confirmed violation before reset may disable the account. Severe conduct may result in immediate restriction. Knowingly false, retaliatory, coordinated, or abusive reports are prohibited and may produce strikes.
11. Location and privacy of others
Granting location permission is optional. If granted, prayer posts automatically use a deliberately reduced approximate area; without permission, posts have no map location. Do not identify, track, contact, or infer another person’s precise whereabouts, or submit someone else’s private information without lawful authority and consent.
12. Optional tips
“Buy Me a Coffee” offers optional consumable tips processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Tips support development and operations, unlock no features or privileges, do not influence moderation or visibility, are not charitable donations, and are not tax-deductible. Apple’s payment and refund terms apply.
13. Account deletion
A confirmed deletion request disables the account and signs it out. Associated data is scheduled for deletion within the stated 30-day processing period, subject to limited retention required for unresolved safety matters, fraud prevention, security, legal claims, legal obligations, or backup lifecycle. Deletion is irreversible after processing.
14. Intellectual property
The Letters to God software, design, logo, branding, and original materials belong to Sawadee Thai LLC or its licensors. You receive only a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the app. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, resell, sublicense, or create derivative services except where law expressly permits.
15. Disclaimers and limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, safety, fitness, or content preservation. Sawadee Thai LLC is not responsible for user statements or conduct and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data, emotional distress, lost profits, or loss arising from reliance on user content. Non-waivable rights remain unaffected.
16. Indemnity, severability, and no waiver
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Sawadee Thai LLC against claims arising from your unlawful use, content, or violation of these Terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for new features, safety needs, legal requirements, operational changes, or abuse prevention. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
